TFP Shoots
TFP stands for “Time for Print” (or “Time for Photos”), which refers to a collaborative photoshoot where neither the photographer nor the model is paid in money. Instead, both parties agree to exchange their time and expertise, and the model receives the edited photos from the shoot as compensation. These images can be used by the model for their portfolio, social media, or promotional purposes.
The concept behind TFP is based on mutual benefit: the photographer gains new images for their portfolio or to showcase their style, while the model receives high-quality photos to build or update their portfolio.
Before the shoot, the photographer and model will discuss details such as the theme, location, styling, and any specific goals for the session. TFP sessions are often ideal for new models who are looking to gain experience or expand their portfolio, as well as for photographers who want to experiment with new ideas or add fresh content to their work.
Both parties contribute their time, effort, and creativity to the shoot, and the resulting photos are shared without monetary compensation. TFP shoots are often seen as a win-win arrangement for both photographers and models, fostering collaboration and creative growth.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you help with posing?
I will guide you completely with this. I demonstrate different poses and assist you to ensure you look stunning in the photos. So, you don’t need any experience with photoshoots or posing.
When is the best time for a boudoir shoot?
The best time is when you feel ready and can fully enjoy the experience. If you’re looking for an outdoor boudoir shoot, spring and summer are ideal. I live close to the beach and dunes, so there are plenty of beautiful options available.
Where does the shoot take place?
A boudoir shoot can take place indoors, such as in a hotel, at my studio, or outdoors in nature—for example, at the beach, dunes, or forest. Please note that additional costs may apply for renting locations, such as a hotel room.
For boudoir shoots on an indoor or outdoor location, I travel up to 1.5 hours by public transport from The Hague.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes, I professionally edit all photos for light, color, contrast, and similar adjustments. Temporary imperfections, like a pimple, will be removed. However, features like a beauty mark that are part of your unique beauty will remain untouched. I won’t make you slimmer or fuller in the photos—you’re beautiful just the way you are.
What kind of lingerie should I bring?
Bring lingerie that fits well and makes you feel beautiful. Before the shoot, we’ll discuss the locations you prefer, and I’ll provide tips to help you choose the right lingerie for the setting.
Do you have lingerie available to borrow?
There are so many sizes and styles, so I prefer to leave the final lingerie choice up to you. Choose lingerie that fits well and makes you feel beautiful. If you don’t have anything suitable at home, treat yourself to something special—something that celebrates self-love. I do not have lingerie available to borrow.
Do I have to be half-naked?
Everything is up to you, nothing is required. Whether with or without clothing, I will capture beautiful photos of you. We will discuss in advance what you would like, but I do prefer to photograph in my own style: feminine, stylish, and sensual.
When will I receive the photos?
The photos will be ready approximately two weeks after the shoot. If you would like prints, this will take an additional two to four weeks.
